All the Love in the World, Bamboo Ridge Issue #117 Product Description:
All the Love in the World is a debut prose collection by award-winning poet Cathy Song. The deeply personal, interconnected short stories follow highlights in a family history from Korean immigrant grandparents toiling in rural Hawaii, through a young Asian-American couple’s post-World War II life on the mainland and their daughters growing up in Honolulu in the 1960’s, to travels in New Zealand and India in the twenty-first century.
Cathy Song is the author of five books of poetry. A recipient of the Shelley Memorial Award, the Frederick Bock Prize from Poetry magazine, the Hawaii Award for Literature, the Elliot Cades Award for Literature, and the Pushcart Prize, Song divides her time between Honolulu and Volcano, on Hawaii Island.
